R.I.P. Jenni Wruck (Our Brat) June 5, 1973 – April 29, 2013
GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN
On Monday, April 29, 2013, Jennifer Lynn (Newman) Wruck, age 39, of Stoughton, joined her grandparents and other loved ones who passed before her after a short battle following a recent cardiac arrest. Dennis and Susan (Wirth) Newman welcomed their first of three children into the world on June 5, 1973, in Madison, WI. She married the love of her life, David Wruck on January 15, one of the coldest days of 1994. Their only child Brandon was born shortly after. Jennifer, aka “Brat”, had a passion for playing paintball. She was frequently the first on the field and the last to leave. She would proudly show off her “battle scars” after a weekend of a paintball battle. In real life, working for Plumbline out of Findley, OH, Jennifer was a database wizard, frequently working her magic on even the most complicated and challenging problems. She was an instructor, a problem solver, and the person clients would turn to for answers to their database issues. Jennifer loved music and it inspired her life. She grew up singing 60’s music with her Dad delivering newspapers and grew to love all decades of music. Jen’s music helped her get through housework, headphones on, jamming’ to her music. She became known for having the song of the day on her Facebook page. Many waited with anticipation to see what she came up with for that day.
Jen will be missed for her wit, her caring heart, and her loyalty to family and friends. Though leaving us much too early, she has left her mark forever on this world.
A special Thank You to the nurses and doctors at UW Hospital Palliative Care Unit and Cardiac ICU who made Jennifer’s last weeks as peaceful as possible.
Always in our hearts and always with us on the field
